Tamil poetry exhibition launch

To celebrate Tamil Heritage Month, esteemed poet V. Ranjan Narayanasamy will be displaying several of his works in both Tamil and English including Journey of the Head, a tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II, and Earth’s Gift, a reflection on nature.
This event is being supported by the Ealing Road Library Tamil reading group.

Half term fun in Brent Libraries!

Get ready for a packed half term, including drop in healthy family lifestyle taster workshops from BeeZee Families, free English and maths workshops from Kumon, as well as STEM and creative workshops for children aged 5-11 – all through half term week.
Plus Carnival comes to Harlesden Library! Join us for Carnival de Livro on Saturday 22 February, for a day of music, fun and carnival-themed learning and discovery for the Brazilian community and all Harlesden residents – all welcome. Look out for more details soon! |

Join Kumon for this half term to learn the secrets of speedy maths, play maths games, improve handwriting accuracy and try out using a stylus and tablet. Prizes for all attending children!

Come and join us for a special autism-friendly hour for children aged 3-15 years with their siblings, parents and carers.
Take part in a Becoming Brent craft activity, borrow books and explore the museum. Everyone who books tickets for this special early opening will receive a visual story a week in advance to provide an idea of what to expect on arrival.
The building opens to the general public at 10.30am.

A warm welcome in Brent Libraries
|

This winter, Brent Libraries will again be participating in the Warm Welcome Spaces scheme.
Drop into any of our libraries for a free hot drink and a warm welcome. Please bring your own reusable cup to help support recycling.
You can also donate your once-loved adult or children’s coat at Wembley Library, Ealing Road Library and The Library at Willesden Green and help keep someone in need warm this winter. Please hand in your coats to a member of staff. |
